Quick answers.
Which Minecraft do I need? Minecraft: Java Edition on a computer, at the version the server runs. Turn on crossplay and friends on Bedrock Edition can join too: on a phone, a tablet, or Windows they add the server by its address and port, and consoles need a workaround.
Do my friends need an account here? No. Only the person who creates the server does.
Where are the servers? In the United States.
Can I upload my existing world? Yes. Zip it and upload it in the Files tab. Bring your world has the steps.
Can I add plugins or mods? Yes. On Paper and Purpur your server's page has a Plugins tab, and on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge a Mods tab, to find them and install them.
Why do I have to verify my email? You need a verified email to create a server and pay for it, so receipts and notices reach you.
I forgot my password. Use "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page.
How do I delete my account? Write to support@octocarbon.com from the account's address. The privacy policy says what we keep.
